    How can one add/enable touch/swipe function for mobile devices?

    Adjusting the slider speed to a much lower setting, say 500 solved this problem. All good!

    When a user changes from portrait view to landscape, the touch swipe fails. Is there an adjustment that can be made to resolve this?
