I found a work around for this by assigning a CSS rule to the directional nav wrapper making the height 100%. What was unique about this problem and and slider is the hover must be triggered by the slide image only vs the whole slide(image + text).

Having an option for this in a future release would be plus.

When a user changes from portrait view to landscape, the touch swipe fails. Is there an adjustment that can be made to resolve this?

Setting the slider speed to a much lower setting (like 500) resolves this issue.

Adjusting the slider speed to a much lower setting, say 500 solved this problem. All good!
